I have been looking at Wild Gym ruck packs from afar for so long. For mother's Day my wonderful spouse gave me a gift card so I bit the bullet and ordered the Feather Ruck with two plates. I will say at first it was uncomfortable but it was user error and now that it's completely dialed in to fit my small frame it's so comfortable. I am now officially addicted to rucking and will probably get the everyday ruck too. Can't say how much I love my Feather Ruck enough. I've included a pic showing how it's more of an extension of my body then a backpack that creates tension in your shoulders. Stay Wild!

I have a herniated disc at C6-C7, injured twice. Most packs I've tried compressed my traps and neck, causing major discomfort. I was so bummed out that maybe rucking for me. The Everyday Ruck proved that wrong.

The fit is the whole story. The shoulder straps are thick that they reminded me of a wakeboard impact vest, that same even, distributed pressure across the shoulders rather than two sharp lines digging in. The back panel foam is dense and deep, and the frame behind it is rigid and provides wonderful support with the loaded plate. But what actually keeps me pain-free is the hip belt. It's substantial (this bad boy is thicccccc), it locks in, and once it does, the pack transfers weight to your hips so completely that your upper body barely knows it's there. No hot spots. No compensation through the neck, traps, or shoulders.

I rucked every day for the full trial period. Zero pain. That's not something I can say about anything else I've tried.

If you're managing a neck or shoulder injury and you've given up on finding a pack that doesn't make it worse... this one is worth trying.

Best design for rucking I have encountered. The hip belt allows you to support the weight on your hips, not the shoulders and spine. It is comfortable. The weight compartment is high up and kept close to your back for stability. It has dramatically improved my workouts. Thanks for a great product Wild Gym!

I’m doing good with my 20 pound so I bought an extra 10 pounder to have room to grow.

As someone who lives in a rainforest and has used just about every kind of rain coat material in the world… I can tell you this material is good and standard for backpacking covers… but just by the nature of backpacks and rain covers, they dont keep out all rain… nothing does, not if it’s heavy rain. This is a good product. I recommend it. Also, some tips if you, like me, have to deal with heavy rain: you can use a trash bag inside your pack to add extra protection, you can also spray paint your iron weights for extra protection in the long run… and of course prioritise emptying your pack and letting it fully dry in between uses. Let’s not let rain stop us from a life of adventure and a body ready for it… we got this besties :)

As an accomplished marathoner, ultra marathoner, and ruck marcher, I have to say that this pack does it all. They really thought of all the great features of a ruck when building this product. I won’t go overboard talking about it, but I will say that if you want to enhance your durability in any distance event, this is the tool for you. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable fit. I have shoulder and neck pain and did not want to carry weight on my shoulders. This pack is perfect. The weight is on my hips. I can feel the workout in my legs and that is where I want to target the most. I highly recommend!
